The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every email.

We use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, France) as our email delivery platform. Brevo processes your data on our behalf exclusively within the EU. For more information, please refer to the Brevo Privacy Policy.

11. Crash and Error Reporting (Sentry)

To stabilize and improve our apps, we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc. dba Sentry, 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA). Sentry automatically collects crash and diagnostic data when unexpected errors occur or when app stability is affected.

In particular, the following data is processed:

Active performance/tracing data is not collected (tracesSampleRate: 0). Data is used solely for diagnostics, stability, and analytics purposes (bugfixing, app functionality) — not for advertising or cross-device tracking. The data is not linked to a user's identity.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the stability, security, and debugging of our apps pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Sentry; transfers to the USA are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards.

For more information, please refer to the Sentry Privacy Policy.

12. Advertising Measurement (Meta Pixel)

On our website, we use the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland; in the USA: Meta Platforms, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025). The Meta Pixel is a JavaScript-based tracking tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram, build audiences for ads, and track conversions (e.g., newsletter signups, clicks to our Kickstarter page).

In particular, the following data is transmitted to Meta:

The pixel only loads after your explicit consent via our cookie banner. No data is transmitted to Meta before consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by resetting the banner state in your browser (delete the LocalStorage entry sevenwolf_consent_v2) or by contacting us by email.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG (German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act). We and Meta act as joint controllers under Art. 26 GDPR for the collection and transmission of data; the agreement between us and Meta is available here. Meta is solely responsible for any further processing of the data (e.g., merging with account data, profiling).

Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Meta is certified) and supplementary EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Despite these safeguards, access to the data by US authorities cannot be ruled out.

For more information about Meta's data processing, please refer to the Meta Privacy Policy and the Meta Pixel information.
